HanziToday is an independent project. We are not the body that administers the HSK exam. We are not authorised by it, not endorsed by it, and have no partnership with any organisation that runs or manages that exam.

The name "HSK" is used to describe the study material this tool is aimed at. It is not meant to imply affiliation or endorsement.

2. Figures and content

Numbers such as 3,088 characters to read and 1,200 to write come from published material about the syllabus. Syllabuses get revised; if an official change is made, this site may not reflect it immediately.

Articles on the blog are study notes, not official exam documentation.

3. No promise of results

We do not promise that you will reach a given level, within a given time, or pass the exam. Results depend on the time you put in and how you study.

4. Data loss

Because data lives only on your device, switching machines, clearing browser data or using private browsing will lose your progress permanently. We are not liable for that loss.
